This resort is located near many fun family activities. We enjoyed snorkeling in several areas North of the resort, and had a blast at a large jungle zip-line development about an hour's drive North. About 45 minutes Southeast we enjoyed touring Volcanoes National Park and visiting the Volcano Winery. Kona is a pretty laid-back, relaxing place without the hustle and bustle (and crowding) found on Oahu.
