Maui, Hawaii: A Place of Colorful Scenery
With more than 120 miles of coastline, Maui features over 80 white, black and red sandy beaches, where guests sun-bathe, snorkel and surf. West Maui's premiere beach, Kaanapali Beach, is located within walking access to the Kaanapali hotels and timeshares. It features three miles of white sand beach. In the most northern point, the beach holds Puu Kekaa, Black Rock, which is great for snorkeling and diving.
Maui offers some breathtaking nature sights to see, including traveling to see the early sunrise above the Haleakala Crater. While it means getting up extra early, as it can take up to two hours to drive up to top of the crater and the sun rises as early as 5:38 a.m. in the summer and 6:55 a.m. in the winter. However if you stay beyond sunrise you'll be treated to an array of changing colors in the sky. If you are not an early bird, Air Maui offers helicopter rides, where passengers can gaze at some of Maui's best scenic sites from the Hana Rain Forest and Haleakala Crater to lush waterfalls and the West Maui Mountains. With landscape like this, it's not wonder Maui timeshares are so popular.
